The Mwantalasha Charity

Mwantalasha Village Education Project is a registered charity which was started by Dave and Lorraine Cawley. We work with Bishop Victor Chabala who is the father of Patches Chabala who was curate at Dave and Lorraine's church, St. Michael's, Plas Newton, Chester, UK, from 2011 to 2015.

A message from Victor

WE ARE TOUCHING LIVES:
One thing that touches my heart so deeply is that three quarters of our children in programme have never had a father to look up to. The only father they know is myself. Some little kids have never had a grandfather to play and laugh with. The only grandfather they know is myself. If you walked with me in Mwantalasha Village, you will be amazed just how many kids, including those who are not in our programme would be calling out and waving at me in excitedly.
This one stops me and says, "Grandpa, when will you buy me a toy car?"
Another one says, "Grandpa, I want to follow you where you are going."
Sometimes I think there will be more children at my funeral than adults, and I am serious.
So, to all our partner sponsors in our Mwantalasha Village Education Project, together, we are touching lives not just for this world but also for the world to come.
