A group of our children came to me and said, we just want to say "thank you" for connecting us to sponsors who have lovingly been supporting us. I could not hide my tears.
I said to them, "Thank God who saw your need and made a provision through people unknown to you."
This reminded me of a story I read several years ago.
One day in 1964, five-year-old Eady Rothstein fell into a swimming pool in Long Island, New York. She would have drowned but for the efforts of Larry Brickman, 21, a lifeguard who knew CPR, which was rare at the time. Now, almost fifty years later, Eady used family scrapbooks and online search engines to locate Larry and express her gratitude. "I've always said I wanted to thank him," Rothstein said." I owe my life to him, and it's a very nice feeling to finally be able to say, 'Thank you."

So, sponsors, on behalf of the volunteers, guardians, parents and all our sponsored children, kindly accept our gratitude for all that you have been to these children.
